Puja

According to Hindi mythology, A Hindu theist offers his worshipping to god in three ways:

• Gyaan Kaand – The worshipping which is based on knowledge
• Bhakti Kaand -The worshipping which is based on spirituality
• Karma Kaand -The worshipping which is based on one’s doings and work

हिन्दू शास्त्रों के अनुसार हिन्दू धर्मावलम्बियों के लिये देवताओं की आराधना तीन प्रकार से की जाती है।

१   ज्ञानकाण्ड  (जो आराधना ज्ञान के आधार पर होती है)

२   भक्तिकाण्ड. (जो आराधना भक्ति के आधार पर होती है)

३   कर्मकाण्ड. (जो आराधना कर्म के आधार पर होती है)

Karma Kaand is of 2 types:- (कर्मकाण्ड  दो प्रकार का होता है)

1. Nitya Karma kaand– According to Hindu mythology, rituals and spirituals performed as daily routine in this karma Kaand.

नित्य कर्मकाण्ड. जैसा कि शास्त्रों में कहा गया है जो पूजा नित्य की जाती है वह नित्य कर्मकाण्ड कहलाती है।

1. Naimittik karma kaand-The rituals and spirituals, performed with a significant purpose is called as Naimittik karma kaand. According to Hindu mythology, there are few types of Naimittik karma kaand:

नैमित्तिक कर्मकाण्ड – किसी विशेष उद्देश्य से भगवान की आराधना करते हैं। नैमित्तिक कर्मकाण्ड कहलाता है। हिन्दू धर्मशास्त्रों के अनुसार कुछ नैमित्तिक पूजा इस प्रकार हैं।

1. Naamkaran Sanskaar : This is performed on the 11^th day of birth. Our mythologist’s have stated that initial ten days after birth are not fit for any ritual and spiritual activities so this is done on eleventh day only. This sanskaar has more preference and relevance in Sanaatan group.

नामकरण संस्कार – जन्म के ग्यारहवें दिन यह संस्कार होता है। हमारे धर्माचार्यों ने जन्म के दस दिन तक अशौच माना है। इसलिये यह संस्कार ग्यारहवें दिन करने का विधान है। नामकरण संस्कार का सनातन धर्म में अधिक महत्व है।

 

2. Nishkraman Sanskaar : This is said to be performed in the fourth month after birth, because it is believed that new born is vulnerable and susceptible to external environment  for the initial  three months and so kept in protected condition. This sanskaar is performed to create the first socially enabled and acceptable condition for the new born.

निष्क्रमण संस्कार– जन्म के चौथे महीने इसको करने का विधान है। क्योंकि तीन महीने तक शिशु का शरीर बाहरी वातावरण तेज धूप, हवा आदि के अनुकल नहीं होता है। अतः तीन मास तक बहुत सावधानी में रखा जाता है। इस संस्कार का तात्पर्य  है कि शिशु समाज के सम्पर्क में आकर सामाजिक परिस्थितियों से अवगत हो।

3. Annapraashan Sanskaar : This sanskaar enables the mental and physical growth and development of the new born. The meaning of “Annapraashan “ is that now the time has come when the food intake of infant has to be shifted from milk feeding to cereals and pulses feeding for the physical and mental growth and development . Annapraashan has to be commenced in the sixth month after birth.

अन्नप्राशन संस्कार – इस संस्कार का उद्देश्य शिशु के शारीरिक एवं मानसिक विकास पर ध्यान केन्द्रित करना है। अन्नप्राशन का स्पष्ट अर्थ है कि शिशु जो अब तक पेय पदार्थो विशेषकर दूध पर आश्रित थाए अब अन्न जिसे शास्त्रों में प्राण कहा गया है उसको ग्रहण कर शारीरिक एवं मानसिक रूप में अपने को बलवान व प्रबुद्ध बनाने हेतु हमारे धर्माचार्यो  ने अन्नप्राशन को जन्म के छठें महीने को उपर्युक्त माना है।

4. Choodakarm( Mundan) Sanskaar : This sanskaar has to be done in the first third year or first fifth year after infant’s birth. The relevance behind this sanskaar is to create purity and mental growth and development of infant. The thought behind this is that removal of hairs from head results in mental sharpness of the infant’s mind.

चूड़ाकर्म (मुण्डन) संस्कार – चूड़ाकर्म बालक के पहले तीसरे या पांचवें वर्ष में करने का विधान है। इस संस्कार के पीछे शुद्धता एवं बौद्धिक विकास की परिकल्पना है। इसका तात्पर्य है कि जन्म के समय उत्पन्न बालों को हटाकर बालक को प्रखर बनाना है।

5. Vidhaarambh Sanskaar : The relevance behind this is to create initial stages of knowledge and studies . it is knowledge enabling . Knowledge results in internal improvement of one’s mind and this sanskaar results to best effects when performed in good times.

विद्यारम्भ संस्कार – विद्यारम्भ का अभिप्राय बालक को शिक्षा के प्रारम्भिक स्तर से परिचित कराना है। हमारा शास्त्र विद्यानुरागी है। शास्त्र की उक्ति है “सा विद्या या विमुक्तये” अर्थात विद्या वही जो मुक्ति दिला सके। विद्या अथवा ज्ञान ही मनुष्य की आत्मिक उन्नति का साधन है। ज्योतिष शास्त्र के अनुसार शुभ मुहूर्त में इस संस्कार को करने का प्रावधान है।

6. Karnvedha Sanskaar : The basis of this sanskaar is completely scientific.Every part of human body is important. Ears are involved in hearing and it is believed that this sanskaar prevents anomaly and build resistance with improved hearing strength. It has to be done before Janaeu

कर्णवेध संस्कार. इस संस्कार का आधार बिल्कुल वैज्ञानिक है। बालक की शारीरिक व्याधि से रक्षा ही इस संस्कार का मूल उद्देश्य है। प्रकृति प्रदत्त इस शरीर के सारे अंग बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। कान हमारे श्रवण द्वार हैए ऐसा कहा गया है कि कर्णवेध से व्याधियां दूर होती है तथा श्रवण शक्ति भी बढ़ाती है। यज्ञोपवीत के पूर्व इस परम्परा को करना चाहिये। ज्योति शास्त्र के अनुसार शुक्ल पक्ष के  शुभमुहूर्त में कराने का निर्देश दिया गया है।

7. Janaeu Sanskaar : Upnayan sanskaar is the first step of entrance into bachelor’s stage and it results in enhanced power, sharpness  of mind and life longevity. A child starts his schooling after acceptance of this janaeu sanskaar. Schooling stage happens before the on start of married life and it aims to achieve a balanced life coupled with continuous growth and development in the field of spirituality.

यज्ञोपवीत (जनेऊ) संस्कार. उपनयन संस्कार ब्रह्मचर्याश्रम में प्रवेश करने का पहला मार्ग है। यह आयु को बढ़ाने वालाए बल और तेज देने वाला है। यज्ञोपवीत संस्कार के बाद ही बालक गुरूकुल में जाकर शिक्षा ग्रहण करता हैए जहां उसे आगे की दीक्षा दी जाती है। जिसका पालन गृहस्थाश्रम के आने से पूर्व ही किया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य संयमित जीवन के साथ धार्मिक विकास में रत रहने के लिये बालक को प्रेरित करना है।

 

8. Vivaah Sanskaar : This sanskaar possesses an equivalent importance for both male and female. After achieving the complete growth and development in schooling stage and knowledge generation, a person enters in married stage, which ensures complete social and mental stability of a person when he/she enters in married stage. This stage has relevance in meeting of two individuals to become one with complete emotion of body, mind and soul. Mythology states about seven types of Vivaah. Brahma-vivaah is said to be the excellent.

विवाह संस्कार – प्राचीन काल से ही स्त्री और पुरूष दोनों के लिये यह सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण संस्कार है। विद्याध्ययन के बाद जब युवक में सामाजिक परम्परा निर्वाह करने की क्षमता व परिपक्वता आ जाती है तो उसे गृहस्थ धर्म में प्रवेश कराया जाता है। इस संस्कार के माध्यम से दो प्राणी अपने अलग अस्तित्व को समाप्त कर धार्मिक संस्कार में प्रेमपूर्वक आकर्षित होकर अपने आत्माए हृदय और शरीर को एक दूसरे को समर्पित कर एक सम्मिलित इकाई का निर्माण करते हैं। धर्मशास्त्रों में ८ प्रकार के विवाह बतलाये गये हैं। उनमें से ब्राह्मविवाह को श्रेष्ठ माना गया है।

 

 

Shanti (For Peace)

               

1. Mool Nakshatra Shaanti

According to Hindu Mythology, The birth of any child in birth base ( Ashwni, Rewati, Aashlesha,Mool, Magha, Jyeshtha) leads to curse and anomaly on child. Due to this curse, family situations deteriorates both financially and mentally and encountering lot of hindrance and problems. To overcome these problems , the activity of mool nakshatra shaanti has to be commenced after 27 days of birth where child’s father worship god for blessing of his child.

मूल नक्षत्र शांति.

हिन्दू धर्मशास्त्रों में ऐसा कहा गया है जब किसी बालक का जन्म मूल (अश्वनी, रेवती, आश्लेषा, मूल, मघा, ज्येष्ठा) नक्षत्रों में होता है। बालक को मूल दोष लगता है। इस दोष के कारण घर परिवार में आर्थिक हानि, मानसिक क्लेश की सम्भावना तथा माता पिता को अनेक प्रकार के कष्टों का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। इन बाधाओं के निवारण हेतु मूल नक्षत्र शांति जन्म से सत्ताइसवें दिन या जन्म नक्षत्र में कराने का विधान है। जिसमें शिशु का पिता मूल नक्षत्र के देवताओं से इस दोष की शांति के लिये प्रार्थना करता है।

2. Ek Nakshatra Janan Shaanti

If the birth nakshatra of a child is same as the birth nakshatra of his mother, father, brother and sister, then it leads to intense problematic situation. In such cases, the child will be surrounded with all sorts of problems. To overcome such situation, this activity should be done in perfect timings of Nakshatra.

एक नक्षत्र जनन शांति.

जिस बालक का जन्म हुआ है यदि उस बालक का जन्म नक्षत्र माता.पिता, भाई.बहन का भी नक्षत्र हो तो वह अशुभ होता है,ऐसी स्थिति में धर्मशास्त्रों में कहा गया है कि अल्प कमजोर ग्रहस्थिति वाला बालक अपेक्षाकृत पिछड़ा रहता है तथा दोनों अपने वास्तविक शुभ फलों का भोग नहीं कर पाते। इसकी शान्ति ज्योतिष शास्त्र   के अनुसार उसी नक्षत्र में करानी चाहिये जिससे यह दोष समाप्त हो जाए तथा दोनों समुचित उन्नति को प्राप्त हो सके।

3. Grahan Janan Shaanti

This should always be done to maintain the prosperity and happiness in family, whenever the boy/girl took birth in the timings of solar and lunar eclipse, there exist many complicacies and troublesome situations for them. There is huge positive impact of sun and moon facing to the earth as it results in removing the problematic situations and staying away of all kinds of mental and physical problems. There is need to maintain the peace through worshipping during good timings.

ग्रहण जनन शान्ति.

जब किसी बालक या बालिका का जन्म सूर्यग्रहण या चन्द्रग्रहण

काल में होता है तब ग्रहण दोष होता है। क्योंकि सूर्य को आत्मकारक तथा चन्द्र को मन कारक ग्रह माना गया है तथा इनकी दृष्टि जन्म के समय में पृथ्वी पर न होने के कारण अनेकानेक व्याधियों,मानसिक.शारीरिक, कष्टों, मृत्युभय बना रहता है इसलिये धर्मशात्रों में इसकी शान्ति का उपाय निर्देशित किया गया है जिसे शुभ मुहूर्त में कराने से इस कष्ट से निवारण पाया जा सकता है।

4. Sarv Grah Shaanti

Whenever Kundli of any person portrays the existence of any planet in 6^th, 8^th and 12^th place, then that person encounter several kinds of problems and hurdles in his way in all aspects. This should be done to create the peaceful situation and finding the better solutions of the problems

सर्वग्रह शांति.

जब किसी मनुष्य की कुण्डली में कोई ग्रह ६, ८, १२ स्थान में हो तब मनुष्य उनकी दशा.अन्तर्दशा में कष्टए बाधा तथा व्याधियों का अनुभव करता है। शास्त्रों में इन बाधाओं के निवारण हेतु शांति, जप, यज्ञ इत्यादि कराने का प्राविधान है।

5. Maanglik Dosh

Whenever the existence of Mars is found in Kundli of any person at 1^st, 4^th, 7th, 8th and 12^th place, then that condition is called as Maanglik Dosh. The adverse effect of this is quite huge in situations of marriage from all aspects (marriage conflicts, Divorce e.t.c) . To overcome these problematic situations, this should be done in accordance to the Kundli for getting the solutions of all problems.

मांगलिक दोष

धर्मशास्त्रों के अनुसार किसी स्त्रीए पुरूष की कुण्डली में १,४, ७,

८, १२वें स्थान में मंगल बैठा हो तो मंगल दोष होता है। इससे सबसे ज्यादा प्रभाव विवाह पर पड़ता है जैसे विवाह सम्बन्ध समय पर न होना, विवाह तय होकर छूट जानाए अधिक उम्र होने पर भी विवाह न होना, विवाह के समय विघ्न आना,विवाह पश्चात जीवनसाथी से विवाद होना इत्यदि बातों पर ज्यादा प्रभाव पड़ता है। इन बाधाओं के निवारण के लिये मंगल दोष, शांति, कराने का प्राविधान है। ये जन्मकुण्डली के अनुसार इसको किया जाता है।

6. VAASTU SHAANTI

The main objective behind the Vasstu shaanti is to circulate the wave of happiness, prosperity and peace in one’s home and surrounding. Many times, it has been observed that knowingly or unknowingly people face problems due to existence of curse attached to their home. This is done to make the conditions curse free and prosperous. It should always be performed in the shukl paksh every year.

वास्तु शांति       

वास्तु का अर्थ है मनुष्य और भगवान् के रहने का स्थान, हिन्दू धर्मशास्त्रों के अनुसार नवनिर्मित घर में प्रवेश से पूर्व वास्तु शांति कराने का प्रावधान है। क्योंकि जाने अनजाने में हमारे द्वारा खरीदे या बनवाये गये भवन में अनेकानेक जीव कालकलवित हो जाते हैं। उस दोष से मुक्त होने तथा भवन के प्रत्येक प्रकार के वास्तुदोष को दूर करने के लिये वास्तु शांति कराना चाहिये इसके कारण भवन तथा वातावरण में रहा हुआ वास्तु दोष स्वतः समाप्त होता है और मनुष्य उसमें सुख शांति का अनुभव करता है। इसका ज्योतिष शास्त्र के अनुसार शुक्ल पक्ष में शुभ दिन कराना चाहिये। वास्तु शांति के उपरांत उस घर को तीन महीने से अधिक खाली नहीं होना चाहिये। प्रतिवर्ष वास्तु शांति करा, क्योंकि हम अपने जीवन में जाने अनजाने बहुत से पाप कर्म हो जाते हैं। इसके निवारण हेतु।

Naimittik Karm (According to wish)

1. Paarthiveshwar Chintaamani Poojan ( Stress relieving and peace building)

आयुष्मान्, धनवान्, श्रीमान् , पुत्रवान्, धनवान् सुखी ।

वरमिष्टं लभेल्लिङ्गं पार्थिवं यः समाचरेत् ।।

                                   (नन्दीपुराण)

According to Nandi Puraan, the worshipping of Paarthiveshwar Shivling leads to

happiness and prosperity in the family in all aspects. This activity should be

performed on Mondays and during month of Shraavan.

     पार्थिवेश्वर चिन्तामणि पूजन

नन्दी पुराण के अनुसार पार्थिवेश्वर शिवलिंग की उपासना करने से मनुष्य सभी प्रकार के सुख की प्राप्ति होती है जैसे आयु, बल, लक्ष्मी पुत्र और धन की वृद्धि होती है तथा वह इस जीवन काल में सुख का अनुभव करता है इसे श्रावण महीने तथा प्रदोष तथा सोमवार को कराना चाहिये।

1. Mahamrityunjay Prayog ( Preventing diseases)

This is performed to spread the prosperity in family and removes all the pain and drudgery of one’s life in all aspects. All kinds of problems pertaining to diseases stay away through such activities and peace spreads around. This could be done at any time.

महामृत्युंजय प्रयोग.

मनुष्य की ग्रहपीड़ा, राष्ट्रक्लेश, बन्धुबान्धव से वियोग तथा मानहानि मानसिक कष्टए विपदाओं तथा रोगों की शांति के लिये महामृत्युंजय प्रयोग कराना चाहिये जिससे इस सब पीड़ा से मुक्ति तथा आनन्द की अनुभूति होती है। इसे कभी भी कराया जा सकता है।

1. Vishnusahastranaam ( Panacea to all disease)

This has to be done for achieving the best possible solution of a single problem in one’s family where every member of the family is adversely affected by that problem

विष्णुसहस्त्रनाम स्तोत्र.

विष्णुसहस्त्रनाम स्तोत्र के पाठ से भी समस्त प्रकार का निवारण सम्भव है इसको  घर में जब एक ही कारण से सभी व्यक्ति दुःखी हो तब कराना चाहिये।

1. Tantrokt Navgrah Mantra jaap

This is to be performed in the suitable situation when it seems that there is no immediate positive results outcome. It results in immediate fruition.

तन्त्रोक्त नवग्रहमन्त्रजाप.

जब ग्रहों दशा प्रतिवूहृल हो तथा कोई लाभ न प्राप्त हो रहा हो तब शीघ्र लाभ  के लिये तंत्रोक्तनवग्रह मंत्र का जप करने का विधान है।

1. Shri sookt ( For happiness of Goddess Lakshmi)

 

1. Gopal sahastranaam Harivansh puraan Katha or Putra Kaameshti Yagya ( For blessing the couple with baby)

This has to be done to couple whose Kundli depicts the blessing of a child in their family but due to some obstructions they are not having baby. It results in positive impact.

पुत्र कामेष्टी यज्ञ, गोपाल सहस्त्रनाम, हरिवंशपुराण, संतानगोपाल स्तोत्र

इन सबका पाठ जप कथा जब किसीए दंपत्ति संलग्न न हो तथा उसके कुण्डली में संतान योग हो तब कराना चाहिये ऐसा शास्त्र में वर्णित है।

1. Pragya vardhan ( blessing with knowledge)

This has to be started from Pushya Nakshatra and in situations where boy/girl are not showing interest and dedication in their studies and they are becoming disinterest towards studies and knowledge creating activities. It results in building mental sharpness and enhanced mind strength.

प्रज्ञावर्धन स्तोत्र.

जब किसी बालक या बालिका से पड़ने लिखने में मन न लगता हो तब इसका पाठ ब्राह्मण द्वारा कराने से बुद्धि में वृद्धि होती है तथा पड़ने लिखने में मन लगने लगता है। इसको पुष्य नक्षत्र से आरम्भ कराना चाहिये।

वर्धापन महोत्सव.

अपने जन्मदिवस के अवसर पर वर्धापन महोत्सव कराना चाहिये जिसमें अष्ट चिरंजीवी 9अश्वत्थामा, बली, व्यास, हनुमान, कृपाचार्य, विभीषण, परशुराम, मारकण्डे) की पूजा होती है। जो जिनके पूजन जातक सुख समृद्धि तथा उनका आर्शीवाद प्राप्त होता है।

1. Vipreet Pratyangira ( For destroying the enemy)

This should always be done in adverse situation when the power of enemy outbursts and frequently create complicated situation for you. It results in maintaining peaceful environment for your enemy

विपरीत प्रत्यंगिरा.

जब कोई शत्रु अत्यधिक परेशान करने लगे तब उसकी शांति के लिये विपरीत प्रत्यगिरा स्तोत्र का पाठ कराना चाहिये। यह कार्य अपरिहार्य स्थिति में ही कराना चाहिये।

1. Keertiveerya Yagya (For getting lost things)

This yagya should always be done in situation when an individual or anything is missing. It enhances the chances of its finding.

कार्तिवीर्य याग.

जब कोई वस्तु खो जाये या व्यक्ति लापता हो जाए तब कार्तिवीर्य याग कराना चाहिये। जिससे उस वस्तु या व्यक्ति के मिलने की संभावना प्रबल हो जाती है।
